here, we start small.
kelp was founded and created by kelsey roberts, an astoria based artist and designer.
the goal was always to share art via snail mail, to keep it as something tangible that you can hold in your hands and to brighten your real life mailbox.
kelp began as a promise to make more long-term projects that ended up coming to life in the form of a monthly art subscription for friends and family.
as the mailing list grew, in addition to the excitement around the art, then came the idea to grow it into a stationery line.
kelp is all about bright, playful, and fun art that is meant to share. i encourage you to grab a pen, and a stamp and pass along a little joy with some kelp :)
